Louisville is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kentucky, and the county seat of Jefferson County. Since 2003, the city's borders have been coterminous with those of the county because of a city-county merger. The city's total consolidated population at the 2010 census was 741,096. An important internal shipping port in the 19th century, Louisville today is best known as the location of the Kentucky Derby, the first of three annual thoroughbred horse races making up the Triple Crown. Louisville is southeasterly situated along the border between Kentucky and Indiana, the Ohio River, in north-central Kentucky at the Falls of the Ohio. The Louisville metropolitan area is often referred to as Kentuckiana because it includes counties in Southern Indiana. A resident of Louisville is referred to as a Louisvillian. Although situated in a Southern state, Louisville is influenced by both Southern and Midwestern culture. It is sometimes referred to as either one of the northernmost Southern cities or as one of the southernmost Northern cities in the United States along with St. Louis, Missouri and Washington, D.C.
"Louisville, Kentucky is so beautiful during the spring and summer time. I own a 2010 Dodge Viper and love cruising around the back roads of Kentucky. I like to take a few hours to drive around so I take numerous trips to Bowling Green and Lexington. One Sunday afternoon I was headed out of Louisville and some 18 wheeler cut right in front of me causing me to slam on my brakes; which caused this Chevy Pickup Truck to rear end me. I was so furious I wrote down the license plate and description of the 18 wheeler who caused the collision. I called my insurance company to report it and also indicated how it happened and gave them the at fault parties information. After taking my Dodge Viper to the body shop, I found out the repairs were almost $32,000. I knew this was going to hurt the value of my car no matter how well they fixed it. So this made me do some research on Diminished Value. I found out that me being the non fault third party would be entitled to diminished value due to the accident. During all this my insurance company got a hold of the trucking company and they accepted liability. I than started calling around appraisal companies asking them about the process and what their thoughts were on getting what I'm entitled to.
After calling around for several days, I got a hold of these guys Pinnacle Auto Appraisers. They were more than willing to help me understand the process and even gave me a ball park of how much diminished value of incurred because of the accident. These guys sounded very professional and also knew exactly what they were dealing with. The other companies couldn't really tell me anything definite and felt like they didn't want to do the appraisal knowing they were going against an insurance company. So I hired Pinnacle to the appraisal. Once the vehicle was fixed, they came and inspected the vehicle. Than just a few days later I received a report from them. The report was very thorough and even had an explanation to all repairs completed on my Dodge Viper. I want to personal thank these guys for everything they have done. Not only did I receive excellent customer service but I also received the full amount of diminished value from the insurance company." Jack R - Louisville, KY
